TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: September 8, 2026
Last Updated: September 8, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mokanex website and, where applicable, automotive services requested from or provided by Mokanex (“Mokanex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using our website, requesting service, approving an estimate or work order, scheduling an appointment, or authorizing Mokanex to perform work on a vehicle, you agree to the applicable provisions of these Terms.
1. WEBSITE USE
The Mokanex website is provided for general information, communication, scheduling, and service-request purposes.
Your access to and use of this website is conditioned upon your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or its services.
The website and its contents are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information, we do not guarantee that all website information will always be complete, accurate, or current.
2. ESTIMATES
Estimates provided by Mokanex are approximations of the anticipated work, timing, parts, materials, and charges associated with the services requested.
Estimates are based on the information and vehicle condition known at the time the estimate is prepared.
Automotive repairs can involve unexpected conditions or complications that are not apparent until inspection, diagnosis, disassembly, or repair work begins. These circumstances may result in changes to the anticipated work, parts, labor, completion time, or total cost.
An estimate is not a guarantee that the final cost will be identical to the originally estimated amount.
3. AUTHORIZATION OF REPAIRS
By approving an estimate or work order, you authorize Mokanex to perform the repairs and services described in that estimate or work order and to obtain the parts and materials reasonably necessary to complete the authorized work.
You also authorize Mokanex and its technicians to operate the vehicle when reasonably necessary for diagnosis, inspection, road testing, verification of repairs, or other purposes related to the authorized service.
4. ADDITIONAL REPAIRS & CUSTOMER APPROVAL
If additional repairs or services are discovered or recommended beyond the work originally authorized, Mokanex will provide information regarding the additional work and associated costs before performing repairs requiring additional authorization.
You have the right to know what additional repairs are recommended and what they are expected to cost before authorizing them.
If required repairs exceed the amount previously authorized, Mokanex will obtain your approval before performing the additional repairs.
We will perform only work authorized by you, except where otherwise permitted or required by law.
5. PARTS
Parts supplied by Mokanex are new unless otherwise specified on the estimate, work order, invoice, or other service documentation.
Special-order parts may not be returned or refunded once ordered, subject to applicable law and supplier policies.
Electrical parts are not returnable or refundable once installed or otherwise rendered non-returnable, subject to applicable law.
Used parts do not carry a Mokanex parts warranty unless a warranty is expressly stated in writing.
Customer-supplied parts do not carry a Mokanex parts warranty. Mokanex is not responsible for the quality, condition, compatibility, durability, or failure of customer-supplied parts.
Any labor warranty applicable to installation of customer-supplied or used parts must be expressly stated by Mokanex in writing.
6. APPOINTMENTS, CANCELLATIONS & DEPOSITS
Certain appointments, repairs, parts orders, or services may require a deposit.
Cancellation deposits become non-refundable after business hours on the day the appointment is made and, when the scheduled service is completed, will be applied toward the customer's final bill.
Deposits used to purchase special-order parts or materials may also become non-refundable once those items have been ordered.
Appointment availability and estimated completion times are not guaranteed.
7. MOBILE SERVICE
Mokanex provides mobile automotive services at customer residences, workplaces, and other approved locations when the requested work and location are suitable for mobile repair.
The customer is responsible for providing a reasonably safe, legal, accessible, and suitable location for the requested service.
Mokanex may decline, discontinue, relocate, or reschedule mobile service when conditions make the work unsafe, impractical, illegal, or otherwise unsuitable.
Conditions may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, unsafe traffic conditions, inadequate working space, unsafe vehicle positioning, property restrictions, or other hazards.
Some repairs may require service at a shop or other suitable repair facility rather than at the customer's location.
8. VEHICLE ACCESS & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
The customer is responsible for providing Mokanex with reasonable access to the vehicle at the scheduled service time, including any necessary keys, wheel-lock keys, security information, or other items reasonably necessary to perform the authorized service.
Customers should remove valuable or irreplaceable personal property from the vehicle before service begins.
The customer represents that they are the vehicle owner or otherwise have authority to authorize the requested work.
9. LOSS, DAMAGE & PERSONAL PROPERTY
Mokanex is not responsible for loss of or damage to articles or personal property left inside a vehicle.
To the extent permitted by law, Mokanex is not responsible for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including theft, fire, severe weather, vandalism, or other events outside our control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
10. PARTS AVAILABILITY & DELAYS
Repair and completion times are estimates and may change.
Mokanex is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including parts availability, supplier delays, shipping or transportation delays, incorrect or defective parts received from suppliers, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed when a significant delay affects their repair.
11. PAYMENT
Payment is due upon completion of the authorized work unless another payment arrangement has been agreed to in writing.
The customer is responsible for payment for all authorized labor, parts, materials, fees, and other applicable charges.
Vehicles may be retained until amounts due for authorized repairs and services are paid in full where permitted by law.
Mokanex reserves any lien rights or other remedies available under Pennsylvania law for unpaid authorized repairs, services, parts, or materials.
12. DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES
Automotive diagnosis involves testing and evaluation based on the vehicle's condition and symptoms at the time of service.
A diagnostic service does not guarantee that every existing or future vehicle problem will be identified.
Some faults may be intermittent, concealed, dependent on operating conditions, or require additional testing or disassembly to identify.
When additional diagnostic work is recommended, Mokanex will communicate the recommended next steps and any additional authorization required.
13. WARRANTIES
Any warranty provided by Mokanex will be subject to the specific terms communicated with the applicable repair, invoice, or work order.
Warranty coverage does not apply to customer-supplied parts or used parts unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Warranty coverage may also be affected by misuse, abuse, accidents, modifications, subsequent repairs performed by others, failure of unrelated components, or conditions outside the scope of the original repair.
Manufacturer or supplier warranties on parts may be subject to separate terms established by the manufacturer or supplier.
14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that Mokanex does not own or control.
These may include service-management platforms, payment processors, social-media platforms, maps, scheduling systems, and other third-party services.
Mokanex does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, terms, availability, or practices of third-party websites or services.
Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
15. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We do not guarantee that the Mokanex website will be available without interruption, errors, technical problems, or temporary outages.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mokanex will not be liable for damages resulting solely from the inability to access or use the website.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, content created for the Mokanex website, including Mokanex branding, original written content, graphics, photographs, videos, and other materials, is owned by Mokanex or used with appropriate permission.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, or commercially used without permission except as permitted by applicable law.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Failure by Mokanex to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Mokanex may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our website, services, policies, business practices, or legal requirements.
When these Terms are updated, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page may be revised.
Your continued use of the website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated website terms. For automotive repair transactions, the terms presented with or incorporated into an estimate, work order, or other authorization may also apply to that transaction.
